Who is it Suitable For?

Acidex Advance is intended for:

• Adults, the elderly, and children aged 12 years and over.
• Individuals experiencing heartburn, acid indigestion, or gastro-oesophageal reflux symptoms.
• Not recommended for children under 12 unless advised by a doctor.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

Each 10ml dose contains:

• Sodium alginate 500mg
• Potassium bicarbonate 100mg
• Calcium carbonate 160mg

Other ingredients include: carbomer, methyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218, E216), peppermint flavour, purified water, and other excipients.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by age group:

• Adults and children over 12 years: Take 5–10ml after meals and at bedtime, up to four times daily.
• Children under 12 years: Only on medical advice.

How to administer:

• Oral suspension – shake bottle well before use.
• Measure the dose using a spoon or oral syringe.

Duration of use:

• Use for short-term relief. If symptoms persist beyond 7 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

• Common: May cause bloating or flatulence due to the release of carbon dioxide.
