Who is it Suitable For?

  • Adults and children aged 2 years and above.
  • Designed for individuals who experience skin reactions from insect bites, stings, and nettle rash.
  • Not recommended for children under 2 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

  • Mepyramine maleate 2% w/w – an antihistamine that helps relieve itching, swelling, and irritation.
  • Other ingredients: cetostearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, sorbitol solution, sodium citrate, phenethyl alcohol, purified water.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

  • Adults and children 2+: Apply the cream directly to the affected area 2–3 times daily.
  • How to administer: For external use only. Gently rub the cream onto the skin.
  • Duration of use: Use for up to 3 days. If symptoms persist beyond this time, seek medical advice.

 

Possible Side Effects

Most people tolerate Anthisan well. However:

  • Common: Mild skin irritation, stinging, or burning at the application site.
  • Rare: Allergic skin reactions such as redness, rash, or worsening irritation.
    If these occur, stop using and consult a pharmacist or doctor.

 

Warnings and Precautions

  • Do not use if you are allergic to mepyramine maleate or any other ingredients.
  • Avoid applying to eczema, broken skin, sunburnt skin, or large areas.
  • Not suitable for children under 2 years.
