Buscopan IBS Relief is suitable for adults and children over 12 years who experience abdominal cramps, spasms, or discomfort linked to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). It is intended for short-term, symptomatic relief.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

  • Hyoscine butylbromide 10mg – the active substance, an antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles of the bowel.
  • Other ingredients include sucrose, calcium hydrogen phosphate, maize starch, talc, stearic acid, and colourings.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

  • Adults and children over 12 years: Take one tablet up to three times a day.
  • Swallow the tablets whole with water; do not chew.
  • Do not exceed the stated dose.
  • Duration of use: Use for up to 2 weeks without medical advice. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

  • Common: Dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision.
