Each 5ml of Lactulose Solution contains:

• Active ingredient: Lactulose 3.3g
• Other ingredients: Galactose, lactose, and purified water
  Lactulose is a type of sugar not absorbed by the body, allowing it to work in the bowel to draw in water and soften the stool.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by Age Group

• Adults and adolescents over 14 years: 15–45ml daily, adjusted to 15–30ml once stools become regular
• Children 7–14 years: 15ml daily
• Children 1–6 years: 5–10ml daily
• Infants under 1 year: Up to 5ml daily (only on medical advice)

How often to take it
Take once daily, preferably at the same time each day. If needed, this may be divided into two smaller doses.
