Frequently Asked Questions About Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen

Does Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen contain any animal-derived ingredients?

No, all ingredients in Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen are free from animal derivatives.

Has Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen or its ingredients been tested on animals?

Neither we nor the manufacturer have tested Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen or its ingredients on animals. Additionally, our suppliers do not conduct such testing on our behalf.

How long can Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used after opening?

The pen can be stored unopened until the expiry date printed on the packaging. Once opened, it should be used within six months, provided it is stored correctly.

Where on the body can Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used?

This treatment is suitable for warts or verrucas on the hands, feet, arms, legs, and body. However, warts in sensitive areas such as the face, armpits, breasts, bottom, or genitals require specialist advice—consult your doctor.

Why shouldn’t Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used on a wart with hair growing out of it?

Hairs do not typically grow through warts. If you notice this, consult your GP to verify the diagnosis.

Can Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used long-term?

Do not use Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen on a single wart or verruca for more than six weeks without seeking advice from a healthcare professional.

If the wart or verruca persists beyond six weeks, or if it becomes painful, spreads, or multiplies rapidly, speak with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

How often can Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used?

You can use Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen whenever wart or verruca removal is needed. However, a single wart or verruca should not be treated for more than six weeks. If there is no improvement after this period, seek medical advice.

How frequently should I apply the treatment?

Apply the treatment three times per week, following this schedule:

  • Apply on days 1, 3, and 5
  • Rest for two days
  • Repeat until the wart or verruca disappears, or for a maximum of six weeks

How much treatment should be applied?

Start with a minimal amount of treatment, especially on first use. Treat a single wart or verruca for just one second to assess skin reaction. If well tolerated, gradually increase contact time as follows:

  • For children (8–11 years), those with sensitive skin, or small warts/verrucas: Increase treatment time cautiously, up to a maximum of 10 seconds.
  • For larger warts or stubborn verrucas on the soles of the feet: Gradually increase treatment time up to a maximum of 20 seconds.

Ensure that only the wart or verruca is treated and avoid contact with surrounding healthy skin. It’s better to apply too little than too much if uncertain.

Can Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used alongside other wart removal treatments?

No, do not use Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen in combination with other wart or verruca treatments.

If the wart or verruca remains after six weeks, consult a healthcare professional.

How can I tell if the pen is empty?

Do not shake the pen, as this may damage it and cause leakage. If the pen appears dry, press the tip against absorbent paper to check for moisture. The pen does not dispense visible liquid drops.

Can people with asthma use Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen?

There are no known contraindications for asthmatics using this treatment.

However, the pen has a strong smell that may irritate the respiratory system, throat, or eyes. Avoid direct inhalation, as it may cause symptoms like a runny nose, watery eyes, or breathing difficulties.

Can people with allergies use Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen?

This product contains formic acid and should not be used by individuals allergic to bee or ant stings.

Can Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

There are no specific known risks, but it is advisable to consult your doctor, pharmacist, or nurse before using this product while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can diabetic patients use Bazuka Advance Treatment Pen?

No, this product is not recommended for diabetics.

Individuals with diabetes or poor peripheral circulation (such as those with Raynaud’s disease) may have reduced skin sensitivity, increasing the risk of unintended damage. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for alternative treatments.

Should I cover the treated wart or verruca with a plaster?

No, do not apply a plaster over the treated area, as this may cause skin damage.

Should I protect the treated area from sunlight?

Yes, try to avoid unnecessary sun exposure, as it may cause temporary discolouration of the treated skin.
