Who is it Suitable For?

Anusol Cream is suitable for adults aged 18 years and over. It is intended for people experiencing internal or external haemorrhoids or associated anal irritation. It is not recommended for children under 18 years.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

  • Zinc oxide – antiseptic and astringent, reduces swelling and bacterial growth.
  • Balsam Peru – mild antiseptic, protects sore skin.
  • Bismuth oxide – antiseptic and astringent, protects raw and irritated tissue.

Inactive ingredients: Include lanolin, liquid paraffin, and other excipients for cream formulation.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

  • Adults (18 years and over):
    • Apply sparingly to the affected area at night, in the morning, and after every bowel movement.
    • For external piles, gently wash and dry the area, then apply evenly.
    • For internal piles, wash and dry the area, then use the included applicator nozzle to insert cream into the back passage.
  • Duration of use:
    • Use for as long as symptoms persist or as advised by a healthcare professional.
    • Do not use continuously for more than 7 days without medical advice.

 

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, side effects may occur, although not everyone experiences them.

  • Common: mild burning, itching, redness, or irritation.
  • Rare: allergic skin reactions, pain at the site of application.

If any severe reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
