Aquacel Extra Hydrofiber Wound Dressing

Aquacel Extra Hydrofiber Wound Dressings provide advanced wound care for moderate to highly exuding wounds. With dual-layer Hydrofiber Technology, they deliver superior absorbency, strength, and easy removal while maintaining a moist wound environment for optimal healing.

Aquacel Extra Hydrofiber Wound Dressing is an advanced wound care dressing made of two layers of Hydrofiber Technology stitched together, making it nine times stronger and with 39% greater absorbency compared to the original Aquacel dressing.

This dressing gels on contact with wound exudate, effectively locking in fluid and harmful components while contouring to the wound bed. The integrated strengthening fibres maintain the dressing’s integrity and aid in easy removal, supporting patient comfort and effective wound management.

Aquacel Extra is specifically suited for moderate to highly exuding wounds and offers the same clinical indications as the original Aquacel dressing, including chronic and acute wounds.
