FAQs
Can Avoca be used on multiple warts at the same time?
Yes, but each wart must be treated carefully and separately to avoid damaging healthy skin.
Why does the treated area turn black?
Silver nitrate reacts with skin tissue, causing temporary black staining that fades as treated tissue sheds.
Can I cover the area with a plaster after application?
Only once the treated area is completely dry. Covering too soon may spread the solution.
What happens if Avoca touches healthy skin?
It may cause staining or irritation. Protect surrounding skin with petroleum jelly before application.
Is Avoca suitable for long-term use?
No. It is intended for short, defined treatment courses only.
