Ingredients in Benadryl Allergy Children’s 2+ Oral Solution
- Active Ingredient: Cetirizine hydrochloride 1mg/ml
- Other Ingredients: Sorbitol (E420), glycerol, propylene glycol, sodium acetate, acesulfame potassium, tutti frutti flavour, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), citric acid monohydrate, purified water
Dosage Instructions
- Children aged 2 to 6 years: 2.5ml twice daily
- Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5ml twice daily
- Adults and children over 12 years: 10ml once daily
- Always use the provided spoon and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Possible Side Effects
Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Possible side effects may include:
- Drowsiness (less common in children)
- Headache
- Upset stomach
- Dry mouth
- Tiredness
- Dizziness
