Description
Who is it Suitable For?
- Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years of age.
- May be used in younger children only under medical supervision.
- Suitable for individuals with mouth ulcers, sore throat, gingivitis, or post-dental procedures.
Ingredients / Active Ingredients
- Active ingredient: Benzydamine hydrochloride 0.15% w/v.
- Other ingredients: Ethanol, glycerol, polysorbate, methylparahydroxybenzoate (E218), saccharin sodium, flavourings, and purified water.
How to Use / Dosage Instructions
Dosage by age group:
- Adults and children ≥12 years: 4–8 sprays onto the affected area every 1.5 to 3 hours as required.
- Children under 12: Not recommended unless prescribed by a healthcare professional.
How to administer:
- Direct the spray nozzle towards the painful area of the mouth or throat.
- Press firmly to release the spray. Avoid inhaling while spraying.
Duration of use:
- Use for up to 7 days. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Possible Side Effects
- Common: Temporary numbness, stinging, or burning at the site of application.
- Uncommon: Skin rash, itching, or dry mouth.
- Rare: Severe allergic reaction with swelling of the lips, tongue, or throat (seek urgent medical help).
