Who is Clarinaze Allergy Control Nasal Spray Suitable For?
Clarinaze Allergy Control Nasal Spray is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. It is intended for individuals who suffer from seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) or year-round allergies caused by dust mites, pet dander, or mould. It is not suitable for children under 12 years without medical supervision.
Ingredients / Active Ingredients
Each spray contains:
- Mometasone furoate 50 micrograms per actuation – a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation and allergy symptoms.
Other ingredients include: microcrystalline cellulose, carmellose sodium, glycerol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride, and purified water.
How to Use / Dosage Instructions
Dosage by age group:
- Adults and children aged 12 and above: Two sprays into each nostril once daily (total daily dose of 200 micrograms). Once symptoms are under control, the dose may be reduced to one spray per nostril daily.
How often to take it:
- Use once daily, ideally at the same time each day. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
How to administer:
- Shake the bottle gently before use.
- Prime the spray if using for the first time or after a period of non-use by pumping until a fine mist is produced.
- Blow your nose gently. Insert the nozzle into one nostril, close the other, and spray while breathing in. Repeat in the other nostril.
Duration of use:
- Use daily for the duration of your allergy season or as advised by your pharmacist or GP. If symptoms do not improve within 14 days, consult a healthcare professional.
