Who is it Suitable For?

  • Adults aged 16 years and over who require long-term antiplatelet therapy to reduce the risk of blood clot formation.
  • Commonly prescribed for patients with a history of heart attack, stroke, angina, or after certain heart procedures (such as stent insertion or bypass surgery).
  • Not suitable for children under 16 years unless specifically prescribed, due to the risk of Reye’s syndrome.
