Who is it Suitable For?

  • Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above.
  • Suitable for those experiencing occasional constipation or requiring bowel emptying before medical procedures.
  • Not recommended for children under 12 unless prescribed by a doctor.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

  • Bisacodyl 10mg (active ingredient) – a stimulant laxative that encourages bowel movement.
  • Other ingredients: Hard fat (suppository base).

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by age group:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: One suppository (10mg) inserted into the rectum when required.

How often to take it:

  • Use when needed. Do not use for more than 5 consecutive days without medical advice.

How to administer:

  • For rectal use only. Remove the suppository from its packaging, moisten with water, and insert gently into the rectum pointed end first.

Duration of use:

  • Short-term only. Consult a healthcare professional if constipation persists.

  • Uncommon/Rare: Dizziness, fainting, rectal irritation, or blood in the stool.
