Ingredients in Dymista Control Nasal Spray

• Active ingredients (per spray):
  • Azelastine hydrochloride 137 micrograms
  • Fluticasone propionate 50 micrograms
• Other ingredients: Disodium edetate, glycerol, microcrystalline cellulose, polysorbate 80, benzalkonium chloride (as a preservative), purified water

Dosage and How to Use

• Suitable for adults aged 18 years and above
• One spray in each nostril twice daily (morning and evening)
• Shake well before use
• Use regularly for full benefit during allergy season
• Do not exceed the recommended dose

Possible Side Effects

As with all medicines, some people may experience side effects. These may include:

• Bitter taste
• Nosebleeds
• Headache
• Nasal dryness or irritation
• Sneezing
• Drowsiness or fatigue

If side effects are severe or persistent, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.

Warnings and Precautions

• For nasal use only
• Do not use if you are allergic to azelastine, fluticasone, or any other ingredients
• Only use if another antihistamine or corticosteroid has failed to provide relief
• Do not use if you are taking medicines for HIV
• Avoid contact with the eyes
• Consult your doctor before use if you have recent nasal surgery, nasal ulcers, or a weakened immune system
• If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, or worsen, seek medical advice
• do not use for more than 3 months without consulting your doctor

Drug Interactions

• Inform your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking any other medicines, especially:
  • Ritonavir or other HIV medications
  • Ketoconazole or other antifungals
  • Corticosteroids (oral or injected)
    These may increase the risk of systemic side effects.

• Store in the original container below 25°C
• Keep out of reach of children
• Discard 6 months after opening or after the expiry date, whichever is sooner
