GelTears Eye Gel is suitable for adults and the elderly suffering from dry eye syndrome or discomfort caused by reduced tear production. It may also be beneficial for patients with eye surface disorders or those experiencing dryness due to environmental factors, contact lens use (when removed), or prolonged screen exposure.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

  • Carbomer 980 (0.2%) – the active ingredient, acting as a lubricant to provide prolonged hydration.
  • Other ingredients: Sorbitol, cetrimide (preservative), sodium hydroxide, and purified water.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by age group:

  • Adults and elderly: Apply one drop into the affected eye(s) as needed.

How often to use:

  • Usually applied up to 3–4 times a day, or more frequently if directed by a healthcare professional.

How to administer:

  • Wash hands before use.
  • Tilt head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid, and apply one drop.
  • Avoid touching the eye with the dropper tip.

Duration of use:

  • Can be used long term for ongoing dry eye management. Follow healthcare advice for continuous treatment.
