Description
Who is it Suitable For?
- Adults and children aged 10 years and over who suffer from travel sickness (motion sickness).
- Not suitable for children under 10 unless advised by a doctor.
Ingredients / Active Ingredients
- Hyoscine hydrobromide 300 micrograms (active ingredient) – helps prevent and control travel sickness by blocking nerve signals that cause nausea.
- Other ingredients include mannitol, gelatin, and excipients used in chewable tablets.
How to Use / Dosage Instructions
Dosage by age group:
- Adults: One tablet every 6 hours as needed. Maximum 3 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children aged 10–12 years: Half to one tablet every 6 hours as needed. Maximum 3 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children under 10 years: Not recommended unless prescribed by a doctor.
How to administer:
- Tablets are chewable and can be taken with or without water.
- Take 20–30 minutes before travel for best results.
Duration of use:
- Use only for short-term prevention of travel sickness.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose or use continuously without medical advice.
Possible Side Effects
Like all medicines, Kwells may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Common: Dry mouth, drowsiness, blurred vision, dizziness, constipation.
Uncommon/Rare: Confusion, restlessness, hallucinations (more likely in elderly or children).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
- Not recommended during pregnancy unless prescribed.
- Avoid during breastfeeding as small amounts may pass into breast milk.
