Description
Loperamide 2mg Anti-Diarrhoea Tablets Dosage Instructions:
- Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after each loose bowel movement, up to a maximum of 6 tablets in 24 hours.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years without medical advice.
Directions for Use:
Swallow tablets whole with a drink of water. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If symptoms persist beyond 48 hours, consult a pharmacist or GP.
Possible Side Effects:
Like all medicines, Loperamide can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include:
- Constipation
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Abdominal cramps
- In rare cases, allergic reactions such as skin rash or swelling may occur
