Murine Irritation and Redness Eye Drops are specifically formulated to relieve red, irritated eyes caused by environmental factors like smoke, dust, wind, and screen use. These fast-acting drops help restore the natural whiteness of your eyes, providing soothing relief and a refreshed feeling.

Description

 

Ingredients

  • Naphazoline Hydrochloride (0.012%): Helps to reduce eye redness by narrowing blood vessels in the eye.
  • Glycerin: Provides moisturising and soothing effects to alleviate irritation.

 

Dosage Instructions

  • Adults and children over 12 years: Place 1 or 2 drops into each eye up to 4 times daily.
  • Children under 12 years: Not recommended unless advised by a healthcare professional.

 

Warnings and Precautions

  • Do not use for more than 4 consecutive days to avoid rebound redness.
  • If symptoms persist or worsen, consult an eye care professional.
  • Not suitable for use if you have glaucoma, severe eye infections, or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • Contact lens wearers: Remove lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.

 

Potential Side Effects

  • Temporary stinging or blurred vision after application.
  • Rare: Increased redness, eye pain, or swelling. If you experience these symptoms, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.

 

Drug Interactions

  • Avoid use with other eye drops unless prescribed by your doctor.
  • May interact with medications for blood pressure, depression, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Discuss with your GP if you’re taking any of these medicines.

 

How to Store

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Store below 25°C in a dry place.
  • Discard 28 days after opening to ensure sterility.
