Nicorette Nasal Spray is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over who are trying to quit smoking and need fast relief from strong cravings. It is especially beneficial for those who previously smoked heavily or frequently and require a quick-acting nicotine replacement.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

Active Ingredient:

  • Nicotine 10mg/ml – each 50-microlitre spray delivers 0.5mg of nicotine

Other ingredients include:
Disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, NNS aroma DZ-03226 (B-ionone), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), disodium edetate, purified water.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by age group:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: Use 1 spray into each nostril, up to twice an hour as needed.

How often to take it:

  • Do not exceed 2 sprays per hour or 64 sprays per day.

How to administer:

  1. Remove the protective cap by squeezing the side clips and pulling off.
  2. Prime the spray if using for the first time or if unused for 2–3 days (press pump up to 7–8 times until a fine mist appears).
  3. Insert nozzle into one nostril and spray once.
  4. Repeat in the other nostril.
  5. Replace the cap.

Duration of use:
Use as needed while reducing smoking. Over time, gradually reduce the number of sprays and aim to quit entirely. Consult a healthcare professional for personalised quitting plans.
