Who is it Suitable For?

• Adults and children aged 12 years and over.
• Intended for short-term treatment of moderate pain (e.g. migraines, dental pain, period pain, muscular pain) not relieved by ibuprofen, paracetamol, or aspirin alone.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

• Ibuprofen 200 mg – a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain, inflammation, and fever.
• Codeine phosphate 12.8 mg – an opioid painkiller that works on the central nervous system to relieve pain.

Other ingredients include lactose, maize starch, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, and colloidal anhydrous silica.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by age group:

• Adults and children 12 years and over: 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed.
• Maximum dose: 6 tablets in 24 hours.
• Children under 12: Not recommended.

How to administer:

• Take orally with water.
• Preferably take with food to reduce stomach irritation.

Duration of use:

• Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice due to risk of addiction and side effects from codeine.

• Nausea, stomach pain, indigestion, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness.

Rare/serious:

• Allergic reactions (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty), stomach bleeding, severe headache, confusion, mood changes.

• Not recommended, particularly in the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Codeine passes into breast milk — avoid while breastfeeding.

Driving/machinery:

• May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving if affected.
