Optibac Probiotics For Those On Antibiotics supplement is suitable for adults and children aged 4 years and above who are taking a course of antibiotics and want to maintain digestive health. It may also be used alongside long-term antibiotic therapy. Safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and ideal for those following vegan, vegetarian, or gluten- and dairy-free diets.

 

Ingredients / Active Ingredients

Each capsule contains 4.5 billion live cultures, made up of:

  • Lactobacillus rhamnosus Rosell-11 (also known as Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus)
  • Bifidobacterium lactis Lafti B94
  • Lactobacillus acidophilus/helveticus Rosell-52

Other ingredients: Potato starch, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), ascorbic acid.

Free from: Dairy, gluten, added sugars, artificial colourings, flavourings, preservatives, GMOs, yeast, and parabens.

 

How to Use / Dosage Instructions

Dosage by age group:

  • Adults and children aged 4+: Take 1 capsule daily with breakfast, during the antibiotic course and for a few days after completing it.

How to take Optibac Probiotics For Those On Antibiotics:

  • Swallow the capsule whole with food and water.
  • For those unable to swallow capsules, open and mix the contents into a cool drink or meal.

Duration of use:

  • Use daily throughout the antibiotic course and continue until the pack is finished.
  • May be taken long-term with ongoing antibiotic therapy.

 

Possible Side Effects

Optibac Probiotics is usually well tolerated. In rare cases, mild bloating or gas may occur initially as the gut microbiome adjusts. These effects are temporary and typically resolve on their own.
