Otrivine Congestion Relief Nasal Spray is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. It is intended for those experiencing nasal congestion due to colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, or sinus infections.
Ingredients / Active Ingredients
- Active Ingredient: Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% w/v – a decongestant that works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion.
- Other Ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride (preservative), sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sorbitol solution, hypromellose, and purified water.
How to Use / Dosage Instructions
Dosage by Age Group:
- Adults and children over 12 years: One spray into each nostril up to 2 or 3 times daily.
How to Administer:
- Remove the protective cap and hold the bottle upright.
- Insert the nozzle into one nostril and press down firmly while breathing in gently.
- Repeat in the other nostril.
Duration of Use:
- Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days. Prolonged use may lead to rebound congestion.
