Who is Sleep Aid Diphenhydramine 50mg Tablets Suitable For?
Sleep Aid Diphenhydramine 50mg Tablets is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over who experience occasional difficulty falling or staying asleep. It is not intended for long-term use or for treating chronic insomnia.
Ingredients / Active Ingredients
Each tablet contains:
- Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride 50mg – an antihistamine with sedative properties that promotes drowsiness and helps reduce night-time awakenings.
Other ingredients may include: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch, and colouring agents depending on the manufacturer.
How to Use / Dosage Instructions
Dosage by age group:
- Adults and children aged 16 years and over: One tablet to be taken 20 minutes before bed.
How often to take it:
- Take only once per night as needed.
- Do not exceed one tablet in 24 hours.
How to administer:
- Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew.
Duration of use:
- Not to be used for more than two consecutive weeks without consulting a doctor. If sleep difficulties persist, seek medical advice.
