Ingredients in Solpadeine Max Tablets
Each Solpadeine Max Tablet contains:
- Paracetamol 500mg – a common analgesic and antipyretic
- Codeine phosphate hemihydrate 12.8mg – a mild opioid analgesic
Other ingredients: maize starch, potassium sorbate (E202), pregelatinised maize starch, talc, povidone, magnesium stearate, and croscarmellose sodium.
Dosage & How to Use Solpadeine Max Tablets
- Adults and children aged 16 years and over: Take 2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed.
- Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- Children aged 12 to 15 years: Take 1 tablet every 6 hours, if needed.
- Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years due to the risk of respiratory side effects.
- Swallow tablets whole with water.
- Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.
