Who is it Suitable For?
These tablets are intended for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and over who are suffering from symptoms of sinus congestion, including blocked nose, headaches, pain, fever, and inflammation.
They are not suitable for children under 15 years.
Ingredients / Active Ingredients
Each tablet contains:
- Ibuprofen 200mg – an anti-inflammatory painkiller that reduces inflammation, headaches, fever, and sinus pain.
- Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride 30mg – a decongestant that narrows swollen nasal blood vessels, easing congestion and restoring airflow.
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, croscarmellose sodium, maize starch, silica (colloidal anhydrous), magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 400, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172).
How to Use / Dosage Instructions
- For oral use only.
- Adults and adolescents aged 15+: Take 1–2 tablets every 6 hours, if required.
- Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
- Swallow tablets whole with water.
- Do not give to children under 15 years.
Duration of use: Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms.
Possible Side Effects
As with all medicines, side effects may occur:
- Common: Nausea, stomach discomfort, dry mouth, mild dizziness, difficulty sleeping.
- Uncommon: Headache, skin rash, or palpitations.
- Rare but serious: Allergic reactions (swelling of face/lips/throat, difficulty breathing), severe stomach pain, black stools, chest pain.
Stop taking and seek urgent medical help if you experience any severe reaction.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not take if you:
- Are allergic to ibuprofen, pseudoephedrine, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
- Have high blood pressure, heart disease, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, or circulation problems.
- Are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them in the last 14 days.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Not recommended. Consult your doctor before use.
Driving and machinery: May cause dizziness or blurred vision – do not drive or operate machinery if affected.
Interactions with Other Medicines
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking if you are using:
- Other NSAIDs or painkillers (e.g. aspirin, naproxen).
- Medicines for high blood pressure or heart problems.
- Certain antidepressants (MAOIs, SSRIs).
- Blood-thinning medicines (e.g. warfarin).
