Ingredients in Voltarol Max Strength Pain Relief 2.32% Gel:
Each gram contains:
- Diclofenac Diethylammonium 23.2mg (equivalent to 20mg diclofenac sodium)
Other ingredients include: isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, carbomer, cocoyl caprylocaprate, diethylamine, oleyl alcohol, fragrance (containing benzyl benzoate), and purified water.
Dosage Instructions:
- Adults and children aged 14 years and over:
- Apply twice daily, morning and evening, directly to the area of pain.
- Use an amount ranging from a 1p to 2p coin depending on the size of the affected area.
- Gently rub into the skin until absorbed.
- Do not use for more than 14 days unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Wash hands after application unless treating the hands.
If your symptoms do not improve within 7 days or worsen, consult your GP or pharmacist.
How to Use:
- Remove the seal using the reverse side of the cap.
- Open the flip-top cap (100g size) using your thumb, finger, hand, or the edge of a surface.
- Squeeze out a small amount and rub into the skin over the affected area.
- Reapply after 12 hours if needed.
Warnings & Precautions:
- For external use only – do not apply to broken, infected, or irritated skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
